New Website

New Website, Powered by Jekyll

Hi! I finally got around to creating my personal website. I initially wanted to create something from scratch, but I realized that if I wanted something easily maintainable for the future, I should go with some sort of framework.

For this reason, I chose Jekyll. Being able to write my pages in markdown is beyond nice. I was honestly tired of using HTML to format everything in my websites.

Downsides:

• Ruby
• That’s it

Managing the Ruby dependencies and environment was frustrating as can be, but eventually I got it working… I think… can you see this?
